- Ten-year career with Citicorp Real Estate (the former commercial
real estate lending arm of Citigroup), including City Head of the
Dallas office, handling many of the industry's largest and most complex
real estate finance transactions.
- Seven years with two of the largest commercial banks in Texas,
with principal focus on commercial real estate construction loans
- Experience as a university adjunct instructor in the area of income
property finance and investment
- Involvement with over $6 billion in real estate transactions in
twenty states
- Experienced investor in income producing properties, both development
and acquisition/rehabilitation
- Extensive involvement with construction and permanent financing,
as well as large bank corporate revolving credits, both as a lender
and borrower
- Experienced in: commercial real estate workouts, multifamily property
workouts, real estate debt restructures, mortgage warehouse litigation,
commercial loan workouts, and CMBS loan disputes
- Capital markets savvy, including experience with: leveraged buy-outs,
initial public offerings, private placements of equity and debt (including
commercial mortgage backed securities), interest rate hedges/swaps,
mergers and acquisitions, and commercial paper financing
- Consulting experience with both publicly-held and private companies
and in litigation support, including serving as an expert witness
- BBA in Economics & Finance from Baylor University
- MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin
- Holds the CRE professional designation conferred by The Counselors
of Real Estate
